Severe weather hits Shkodër causing damage but no injuries
Heavy rain and strong winds have affected the Municipality of Shkodër since last night, causing several damages in the western part of the city. According to the announcement put out by the Municipality trees were uprooted, with one falling on a parked vehicle, but fortunately, no one was injured.
The Public Works Department responded early in the morning to clear the debris and repair the damage before the city’s traffic increased. However the bad weather is expected to continue through the weekend, and citizens are advised to remain cautious.
