According to the Central Election Commission the following political parties registered as electoral subjects:

- Union for Human Rights Party
- Party of Liberty
- National Front Party
- Democratic Party
- Agrarian Environmentalist Party
- Democratic National Front Party
- Albanian Democratic Union Party
The list includes the Democratic Party under Sali Berisha’s leadership, which was confirmed following a court decision. Election Commissioner Ilirjan Celibashi confirmed the approval, noting the compliance of all participating parties with electoral regulations.
The electoral race in Himara features Vangjel Tavo from the Socialist Party and Petro Gjikuria from an opposition coalition, highlighting a competitive atmosphere. The campaign commences on July 27, giving candidates a brief window to engage with voters and outline their visions for Himara’s future.
