The Maritime Police Unit, in coordination with Border Police, successfully rescued four foreign nationals after their vessel suffered a mechanical failure, putting their lives at risk.

Details

The tourist boat, traveling from Montenegro, broke down in Albanian waters between Velipoja and Shëngjin. Onboard were two British citizens, one Swiss, and one Australian. Trained Maritime and Border Police officers quickly intervened, bringing all passengers safely to shore in good health and towing the damaged vessel.
