First test flight lands at Vlora Airport, marking milestone for new terminal

The first test (certification) flight has landed at the newly built Vlora Airport, signaling the start of its operational phase.
Prime Minister Edi Rama and Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku attended the event, hailing it as a significant achievement for Albania’s aviation sector.
“Congratulations to all the new staff of Vlora Airport. I thank our partners from Kosovo, and I believe this two-headed eagle formed by both teams will lift this airport’s name high,” Rama said, calling the project “challenging but transformative.”
