Albanian U-21 national team to face Switzerland in Euro 2025 qualifiers

The Albanian U-21 national football team is gearing up for a crucial match against Switzerland U-21 on September 6, 2024. This fixture is a significant part of the qualifying campaign for the UEFA European Under-21 Championship, set to take place in Slovakia in 2025.

The team will commence their preparations on Sunday, with coach Alban Bushi announcing a squad of 23 players for the upcoming match. Out of these players, ten are drawn from clubs within the Albanian domestic league, while the remaining thirteen are active in foreign leagues.

Currently, Albania U-21 is positioned fourth in Group E of the qualifiers. The group also includes Romania, Switzerland, Finland, Montenegro, and Armenia. Albania has accumulated ten points so far in their campaign.

The match between Switzerland U-21 and Albania U-21 will be held at the Stade de la Tuilière, with kickoff scheduled for 19:30 local time.
