Albanian Foreign Minister meets Hungarian counterpart, discuss strengthening bilateral cooperation

In a joint statement to the media, Hasani praised Szijjarto’s significant contributions to expanding and deepening relations between the two countries. “Congratulations to Hungary on taking over the EU Presidency. Albania-Hungary political cooperation remains at high levels,” Hasani stated.
Regarding economic cooperation, Hasani noted Hungary’s increasing presence in the Albanian market, marking a new chapter in the bilateral trade relationship. He emphasized that Hungary’s EU Council Presidency prioritizes the integration of the Western Balkans, and described Hungary’s strategic vision for the region as beneficial for accelerating Albania’s EU accession.
