Young artists win awards at International Art Contest in Évora, Portugal
Young Albanian painters from the National Center for Children’s Culture have “scooped up” 25 awards at the 24th International Art Contest held in Évora, Portugal.
Context
The talented children won 1 Gold Award, 7 Silver Awards, and 17 Honorary Awards in the painting course category. This art contest was organized by the local municipal government of Évora in collaboration with several non-profit organizations. It is recognized as one of the top three largest painting competitions worldwide.
Évora, an ancient city in Portugal known as a UNESCO cultural heritage site, has been hosting the international painting contest for 24 years.
