Vajzë Fest 2025 turns village into arts and culture hub for third year

From August 22 to 24, the village of Vajzë in Vlora will once again transform into a vibrant center of art and culture with the third edition of “Vajzë Fest.” The event brings together artists, filmmakers, musicians, poets, and public figures in a diverse program featuring film screenings, theater, polyphonic singing, traditional dance, contemporary music, and art exhibitions.
A highlight of this year’s festival is the introduction of “Olympic Day” at the Amantia Archaeological Park, organized in collaboration with the Albanian National Olympic Committee (KOKSH), reviving the spirit of ancient games in a symbolic setting. Nature lovers and young attendees can enjoy hiking, star-lit camping, bonfire nights, and exploration of local caves and waterfalls.
The festival also offers a taste of Labëria’s traditional cuisine, with homemade dishes, fresh dairy, roasted meats, raki, and wine served in the scenic Bee Cave area.
Organized by the Vajzë Village Association in partnership with the Selenicë Municipality and the local community, Vajzë Fest is positioning the village as a unique destination for art, nature, and Albanian heritage.
