The Albanian government has officially declared the “Urban Architectural Ensemble” of a district in the city of Peshkopi as a cultural and historical heritage site. This decision includes the establishment of a protective zone and a plan for its preservation, protection, and management, developed in collaboration with the Dibra Municipality.

The announcement was made by the Minister of Economy, Culture, and Innovation, Blendi Gonxhja, who emphasized that this decision paves the way for the revitalization of the area, turning it into an attractive center for cultural tourism and sustainable development.
