Albania and Germany sign new cooperation protocol worth 93.39 million euros
Albania and Germany signed a new Cooperation Protocol today in Berlin, outlining financial support for Albania from 2024 to 2026. The agreement includes 93.39 million euros in total, with 33.39 million euros in grants and 60 million euros in low-interest loans—an increase of 22% compared to the previous period.

- Energy efficiency: 20.39 million euros in grants will be dedicated to improving energy efficiency in public buildings.
- Ongoing support: Further commitments were made for the rehabilitation of the Vau i Dejës Hydropower Plant.
