1.      Lezha: The city saw severe flooding, especially in the Besëlidhja neighborhood, where water blocked roads, sidewalks, and residential entrances, creating difficulties for residents and underscoring recurring infrastructure problems. Police advised drivers and pedestrians to exercise heightened caution in these areas.

2.      Vlora: Heavy rains flooded key roads, including Vlora-Skelë Boulevard, and other main routes. Water accumulation has made navigation challenging. Work teams are clearing drainage systems, and Road Police have increased their presence, urging drivers to reduce speed and follow traffic rules.

3.      Durres: Known for frequent flooding during heavy rain, Durres saw significant water buildup on roads, slowing traffic. Drainage channels are at full capacity, but the flooding again emphasizes the coastal city’s vulnerability during storms.

4.      Fier: Fier also experienced high rainfall, though it has avoided severe flooding or landslides. Drainage channels are helping prevent surface water accumulation on farmlands, supported by fully operational pumps in Darzezë and Seman.

5.      Tirana: Heavy rain hit Tirana, though no major flooding was reported yet. Meteorologists caution that continued rain could escalate the risk of flooding and landslides.

Forecast: Regions such as Shkodra, Kukës, Dibra, Tirana, and Vlora are expected to see more intense rainfall throughout the day, raising the probability of worsening conditions. Forecasts for autumn and winter predict more heavy rainfall, pointing to prolonged risks for flood-prone areas.
