This year’s festival kicks off with “Swan Lake,” staged over two nights at the National Theater of Opera and Ballet on September 20 and 21, under the direction of renowned choreographer Angelin Preljocaj. He combines Tchaikovsky’s masterpiece with modern arrangements, breathing new life into this classical repertoire. Staying true to the original work, he places the story of the Swan Princess at the center of contemporary issues.
