Former Democratic Party MP Gerti Bogdani passes away at 44
Gerti Bogdani, former MP of the Democratic Party, passed away at the age of 44 due to cardiac arrest.
Born on July 7, 1980, in Tirana, Bogdani was a father of two. After completing his education abroad, he returned to Albania and became actively involved in politics with the Democratic Party in 2005. In 2007, he was elected chairman of Tirana’s administrative unit 10, and in the 2009 elections, he won a seat as a member of Albania’s Parliament.
The Albanian Parliament has announced that a memorial will be held for Gerti Bogdani on Thursday morning, in the plenary session hall of the Parliament. The ceremony will take place from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
