Separate meetings held between Kosovo and Serbia chief negotiators in Brussels, no joint session agreed

The separate meetings between the chief negotiators from Kosovo and Serbia in Brussels concluded without a joint session. European mediators were unable to bring both sides to the table for a trilateral meeting. Kosovo’s chief negotiator, Besnik Bislimi, confirmed the absence of a joint session, following two separate meetings with EU envoy Miroslav Lajčak. The European side continues efforts to organize a dialogue round, but no confirmation has been made regarding a joint meeting. An EU official noted that the possibility of a joint session depends on the atmosphere during these separate talks.
