The third edition of the International Cultural Weeks continues on September 2nd, with Hungary taking center stage and bringing a whirlwind of entertainment and excitement to Albania until September 6th. From the enchanting sounds of live concerts to the stunning glass sculptures by artist Yvette Botz, and a special event featuring Chess Jazz and Rubik’s Cube, this week promises to fill Tirana, Elbasan, and Vlora with vibrant energy.

One of the highlights of this week will undoubtedly be the folk dance group Szinvavölgyi Néptáncműhely. Performing in traditional Hungarian costumes, this group will captivate audiences with their dynamic performances. On September 2nd, they will take to Italia Square, and on September 3rd, they will parade along “Dëshmorët e Kombit” Boulevard, bringing a festive atmosphere to the city with their rhythmically intense and energetic dance moves.

At the Elbasan Ethnographic Museum, a major highlight will be the opening of an exhibition by renowned modern digital artist Péter Vanicsek. His innovative works blend technology with creativity, offering a fresh perspective on digital art. The exhibition will be open throughout the week, inviting visitors to explore and enjoy this unique fusion of art and technology.

The capital’s audience will also have the chance to experience a major concert by the Hungarian band Bohemian Betyars. Known for their blend of folk, punk, speed, rhythm, Balkan notes, psychedelic rock, and vibrant gypsy motifs, the band will perform on September 3rd at Italia Square.

Throughout the Hungarian Cultural Week, there will also be special workshops with artists and classical music performances.

The third edition of the International Cultural Weeks kicked off on May 1st and will run until November, filling venues, theaters, art galleries, squares, and cities with a rich array of activities from 20 countries.

Following Hungary, the cultural spotlight will shift to the Netherlands from September 7-11, Turkey from September 12-15, the United Kingdom from September 16-22, China from September 23-29, Germany from October 2-8, Japan from October 9-15, the United States from October 19-23, the United Nations on October 24, Austria from October 26-31, Spain from November 1-6, Montenegro from November 7-11, Mexico from November 12-16, and Kosovo from November 21-30, concluding this third edition of the International Cultural Weeks.
